HyperKelp Selected for MetroConnect VIII Cohort

HyperKelp is proud to be one of 15 San Diego companies selected to participate in the MetroConnect VIII cohort, a comprehensive international sales accelerator led by World Trade Center San Diego.

The program is designed to help San Diego companies expand into global markets through resources including executive workshops, mentorship, consulting, and grant funding to support international growth.

For HyperKelp, the timing is especially relevant. Our Kelp Smart Buoy (KSB) platform is built for persistent operations in the world’s oceans, with applications spanning defense, maritime domain awareness, environmental monitoring, and ocean data collection. Many of the challenges we’re working to solve are inherently global.

Through MetroConnect VIII, we’ll be focused on building the relationships, market knowledge, and international strategy needed to bring HyperKelp technology to more partners and operations around the world.

We’re excited to join this year’s cohort and represent San Diego’s growing blue technology and defense ecosystem on the global stage.
